Trinidad James Rant in Atlanta; Says Migos Didn’t Get Any Love

With the NYC fiasco proving how powerful his words were, Trinidad James decided to rant in his own city last night at Beer & Tacos. This is a short continuation of his New York rant where he tells the ATL that they need to “fuck with their own people” and cites Migos weren’t really given that love until they started popping. So, these rants are becoming more entertaining than the actual music he’s making, which means we haven’t seen the last of them. Footage via SRDtv. Previously: Trinidad James – L.I.A.A.R.S. Trinidad James – L.I.A.A.R.S.

Trinidad James – L.I.A.A.R.S.

Dave Chappelle introduced us to the idea of “when keeping it real goes wrong.” Trinidad James is a living example of this concept with his recent New York comments. Now, he’s got Maino lurking to fade him and all kinds of controversy, which he seems to want to keep prolonging. From this standpoint, it sounds like he’s just using this traction to give himself another five minutes of fame. Thus, “L.I.A.A.R.S.” was created. He makes the most outrageous lines like telling a woman he “owns” her after having sex. Dude, what? At least he admits he’s crazy. Previously: E-40 – Pablo… continue reading

Mixtape: Trinidad James – 10 Pc. Mild

For most of the eight months 2013 has brought us Trinidad James was just a guest feature rapper for artists like Curren$y and Big K.R.I.T. The pressure was on to deliver another project that would silence naysayer that he’s a one hit wonder. 10 Pc. Mild may or may not be that effort. A minimal 10 songs that Trinidad doesn’t try to cloud as some huge growth to his sound, rather just the usual style of turning up and club enjoyment that you’re used to. On this tape, he nabs features out of Gucci Mane, Danny Brown, Young Scooter, Alley… continue reading

Trinidad James Ft. Travi$ Scott – Shut Up!!! (Prod. By Young Chop)

By now, you either love or hate Trinidad James. He’s not changing his energetic sound in an effort to be more conscious or whatever. Take him as he is. “Shut Up!!!” is a joint that’d tear down the club scene. Travis $cott’s efforts on the hook could’ve been avoided, but his verse is solid. Trinidad also poses the question if the two should shoot a visual for it. The answer is yes. Previously: Curren$y Ft. Trinidad James – Killer$ Follow @SermonsDomain

Curren$y Ft. Trinidad James – Killer$

Curren$y is the man when it comes to random song leaks. He doesn’t tell us when, Spitta just does it. On his latest freebie, he re-links with Trinidad James for a short two minute record entitled “Killer$.” If you’d like to hear the first collaboration, one that’s much better and features Lloyd, snag that New Jet City from February.
