Preach On, Sermon: Lil Wayne's Cry To The World

Lil Wayne - Amen (Cry Out) The life of a big-time celebrity doesn’t equal a care-free world. B.I.G. said it best with “mo money, mo problems”. It’s not just the money that brings forth problems. Your environment plays a good role, and this is something Lil Wayne always knew and displayed ...

SD Exclusive: John Payne (Death Row President) Discusses Tupac Album & Upcoming Releases

Photo credit: Tony Morrone. If there’s one legacy on the West Coast that describes the 90’s, it’d have to be Death Row Records. From Tupac to Snoop Dogg, that label was the birth of several stars and legends. However, for every good part of Death Row, there’s a bad part to ...

Review: Ace Hood's Neumos Show In Seattle (1-6-12)

All Photos Credit: Deonte Daniels A good show is often similar to cooking a meal. Too many elements go into making sure that you eat and enjoy it. Things like being organized, having all the ingredients, cooking it at the right temperature, and time, and serving it. It’s difficult to serve ...

Rick Ross does it the biggest for his birthday at Amnesia in Miami. So, in the video blog, you’ll see it all unfold with a ton of guest appearances. You may have seen that he was hanging out with Dr. Dre. Well, he did a little more than hang out as the good Doc gave [...]

You know…in a weird way I kind of like this record. It’s very different from your usual Game, Dre and Snoop records. In the long run, it might work out if you don’t automatically dismiss it. Dre’s part isn’t bad. Probably the best he’s spat in the last couple years. Presumably off R.E.D., which will [...]

Two California O.G.s give their stamp of approval for Jay Rock’s debut album. They bop their head and rock with a couple songs off it. It’ll be out digitally and in stores tomorrow. Cop it here. Previously: Video: Jay Rock Talks About “Hood Gone Love It (Remix),” Chris Brown & More

It’s amazing. Back in October, K. Dot wasn’t anything really special to me as I sat in the back of Glasses Malone and Jay Rock’s tour bus. Not even a year later and he’s blown up everywhere. This is cool and all, but Dre needs to get on Detox. Section 80 coming this summer though. [...]

Yes, this is unauthorized. Yes, Dr. Dre’s goons are being sent out as we speak to find who put it out. No, I don’t know. On that note, this is not a good song for Dre. Very unfitting for what we’re used to from the Doc. It would work better if this was a Maino [...]

This is pretty damn good. He went and made a movie-like visual for the second single off Detox. In the beginning, the good Doctor takes a trip down memory lane. The time is winding down slowly. Most artists have a release date in mind by now. Previously: Video: Kendrick Lamar Brings Out Dr. Dre At [...]

For the first time ever, The Doc hit the stage with long time colleague Snoop along with Akon to perform “Kush” which is supposedly off of Detox. This was at Interscope’s afterparty for the Grammys.

Overall the Grammys was OKAY but could have done without all the country music and all that other stuff. These are the best performances of the whole entire show. Enjoy. Props to Yardie. The remaining of the performances are after the jump.

I haven’t been the biggest Kendrick supporter (I have my reasons thanks to TDE), but I guess it’s time to start doing that. Last night, he sold out an L.A. show with Big Sean, DJ Quik, Dom Kennedy and more being there. The biggest surprise was bringing out Dr. Dre. He doesn’t do much but [...]

Since the song is hitting iTunes on Tuesday, I’m not going to bother to post a download link. That prick at Universal will just take it down. The Doc’s anticipation for Detox has to be growing after this second single. A video was shot yesterday in L.A. Hit the jump to see some footage. Previously: [...]
