Dope Boy Esko is beginning the process of creating his next project. While he has no title or no need to reveal one if he did, the Cali rapper is still releasing potential records from it. “So Right” has him teaming up with Tae Beast once again on this introspective cut. Last month, we got a song that Dope Boy Esko did with LE$ titled “Raw.” This month, the two got together to shoot a video for their other collaboration, “Made It,” found on the Esko mixtape. The basis of “Made It” is enjoying the riches of life after you’ve established yourself. For them, it involves good smoke, alcohol and women. Previously: Dope Boy Esko Ft. LE$ – Raw (Prod. Dope Boy Esko has remained pretty quiet since the release of Esko back at the end of January, but it’s not to say he hasn’t been working on some new material. After teasing “Dope” for the last week, the California native releases the Tae Beast-produced track. It also features a nice guest feature from Texas’ LE$. The beat is reminiscent of some old Wu-Tang style. Previously: Mixtape: Dope Boy Esko – Esko Follow @SermonsDomain
After splashing his name around the internet late last year with features from Kendrick Lamar, Problem, Skeme and others, Dope Boy Esko finally releases the long awaited DJ Carisma-hosted Esko tape. Featuring those past collaborations and also features with Kurupt, J-Doe and more, the 18-track tape gives hope to another rising West Coast MC.
Seeing how Dope Boy Esko has close ties to TDE, he was able to get a good beat out of Tae Beast for his upcoming Esko tape. The project, hosted by DJ Carisma, will be out in two days, but he wanted to drop one more single. “D.G.K.” is basically a salute to the clothing brand. Kendrick Lamar, Kurupt, Scoe, Skeme and more are on the mixtape. Dope Boy Esko Ft. Ill Camille – D.G.K. (Prod. By Tae Beast) Previously: Video: Dope Boy Esko Ft. Is there a such thing as a hip-hop rave? Well, if there isn’t, Dope Boy Esko’s latest video, “Liquor & Drugz” is easily a depiction of what one might look like. Featuring Skeme, the video is mostly shot in hallways with flicking lights to the beat and various style dancers, including a white girl who looks like she popped a molly (no sweating). Esko will be out at the end of January. Previously: Dope Boy Esko Ft. Skeme – Liquor & Drugz Follow @SermonsDomain
