In November Busta had a contest where fans would have a chance to appear in his music video. All they had to do was learn the verse & record themselves spitting it. Sounds easy right? BET’s Hip-Hop Awards last night was pretty good. Chris Brown took home the most awards without even being in the building. The trend seemed to be winners who weren’t actually there. Anyways, the cyphers are the good stuff. Above, Eminem, Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf give you the definition of bombarding the hell out of the competition with bars. Then, the rest are after the jump. Here’s a few thoughts: Busta Rhymes gets the most personality award. That french rapper Soprano was pretty nice as was Nitty Scott. I was expecting more out of Meek Mill, though. Tech N9ne needed a faster beat. And lastly, Skillz is the man!

Two new snippets from DJ Drama’s upcoming album, Third Power. The tracklisting dropped just recently, and the first thing that everyone noticed was no Wayne, Ricks Ross, Wiz, Willie the Kid, LA, and no Drizzy.
