Categories:  East Coast, Sermon's Domain Projects
Tags: ,

All good things must come to an end. After three installments of Twitter Freestyles, this is the last one. Lambo doesn’t go out like some sucker though. This tape is insane! One of the best short but sweet tapes you will hear this year. Presented through DJ Messiah, myself, SMACK and URL TV, I believe that provides a good enough co-sign so you know he’s not playing. Eighteen tracks of nothing but dope freestyles.

Mixtape: Young Gliss – Dealing With The Pressure (A Sermon’s Domain Presentation)

North Philadelphia – May 10, 2010 – Hailing from North Philadelphia, Young Gliss is the cousin of famed Roots member, Questlove?.  He’s chosen to build his own path without utilizing his cousin though.  His decision comes from his want to prove that he isn’t some artist who is looking to get put on through his Cousin’s success.  With appearances on various blogs sites DDotOmen, YK2Daily, YourAudioFix and more, Gliss has created his own fan base.

Dealing With The Pressure’s first single, “Suicide Letter”, painted a dark image of depression, as he battles his own mind based upon consequences of his friend’s mourning his loss and the sight of his daughter growing up to be a vixen in the streets.  On the lighter side of things, the Trav & Rain assisted, “Blowing My High” provides good smoking music to get away from your problems.

“Its good music made from real emotion”, Gliss says about the project.  “That’s pressure how I deal with it and how I see others deal with it”. Hit the jump to download.
