At only 16 years old, Nico Fazio has already racked up a few impressive production credits with KR, Pro Era and Astro. The Winsor, ON producer returns with his second instrumental album, Recreate, and has Curious Collection and Sermon’s Domain sponsoring it. Recreate is eight tracks of various instrumentals that all sound different than the next. Co-production comes from Sür Niles, Taleil Brown and Seedafuture. Nico invites any rappers that may want to make a song over the beats to do so, but don’t come with nothing wack. Nico Fazio’s name has popped up around these parts due to his production credits with rising California artist KR, Pro Era collective and more. He’s looking to keep building his name, and instead of waiting for more placements, he’s crafting his second instrumental album, Recreate. Teaming up with Curious Collection and Sermon’s Domain to sponsor it, he releases the first instrumental from the project; a collaborative effort with Taliel Brown (producer of The Underachievers’ “Land Of Lords”). Expect to hear the finished album on March 5. Follow @SermonsDomain
Lando Beats has worked with Troy Ave, Ryshon Jones and others this past year. Starting off his year strong, he compiled 12 of what he calls his best beats for artists to drops rhymes over. Beats 4 Bars meaning if all you’re going to do is tell us how much money you do (but really don’t) have, the types of vagina you get and other less-than-skillful topics, stay away. Stream and download below. To add to the excitement he also made a beat using assorted Chick-Fil-A items like a bag, the cups and straws and more. Watch that here.
It was a little over a year ago when our good friend Ace Dizzy Flow let loose his instrumental album Late Nostalgic Nights for our listening pleasure. Fast-forward to today, kicking off 2014 properly, Ace is back with the second installment of the aforementioned project and these 11 instrumentals reminded us what this man can do on the boards. The best part about Ace’s catalog is the diversity in sound, and the differentiation between him and most producers. Stream all 11 tracks after the break and purchase them here.
Who’s got the crack? Washington D.C.’s The Crack Factory, of course. Releasing his debut instrumental album, via iTunes and Amazon, Trilateral Commission follows a concept that explores the truths and falsehoods of modern day conspiracies. That’s all through just the idea of the beats themselves. Imagine if he managed to turn it into a concept album. Wishful thinking. For now, stream and purchase the album below.
The last time !llmind graced us with an EP, we got Beats For Kanye West. Remember how slept-on those beats were? Only a couple artists decided to utilize them. For rappers, don’t make the same mistake twice (if you can spit, that is). For fans, enjoy the eight track set of #BoomTrap. What this EP does is “blend dirty old-school drum breaks with heavy 808 subs and kick drums combined with sinister !llmind synthesizers and pulsing vocal stabs.” Stream and download it below.
