If These Were My Beats: Kuddie Fresh Edition

It’s been 28 days since the first segment was born. Kuddie Fresh is another Seattle producer who I respect and love his production a lot. His style is just so thought provoking. When you hear some of his recent work, it makes any artist want to actually go in on some introspective or perspective rap. Also the sole producer on Tha Bizness LLC (their company) mixed with production credits with Jim Jones (“Back On Black”), Jadakiss (“West Coast Kiss”), T-Pain (“Come On In”) and more. He was nice enough to grace the second edition.
Rain – Another Episode: I would put BG on this featuring Jeezy. I would also add more instrumentation to the track to make more cinematic. Give it a bigger feel. Dr Dre took this sample and owned so you got do it big.
Lil Wayne ft Drake – Right Above It: Lil Wayne is a perfect fit for this beat. I would take Drake off and add Yo Gotti. The track is pretty much complete. Kane does his thing.
Ice Cube – Drink The Kool Aid: I would give this to Scarface. I like the real instruments. I would throw Bilal on the hook.
Bei Maejor – Facelifts & Waterfalls: He killed it. I wouldn’t change anything. This is refreshing. For arguments sake I would add some distorted guitars to make it a bit edgier. Bei Maejor did his thing on the verses. New voice, good flow, nice subject matter.
Cambatta – Don’t Blame Me: This would be dope for The Lox or Cassidy. If I made it I wouldv’e had the drums knocking harder. This is a beat for a rapper. So it really doesn’t need to be over produced. Just give it some harder drums and let the MC take it home.
Brainstorm – So What: This is Brainstorm doing what he does best. I’m a fan of Dyme Def and Brain so Iv’e heard a lot of their music. This is Brainstorm at home right here. He kills it with this cadence everytime. If I could I would add a Andre 3000 feature even Big Boi if I could get them both. And more instrumentation on the track. Some horns & strings to brighten up the hook some more percussion to fill it up.
Jay Rock – Get It Off My Chest: Another refreshing track. I like Jay Rock on this. I like new voices and new flows. Nas would be dope on here. Possibly even Throw AZ in the mix. The beat is kinda repetative so I would throw some like base on it. More chords & strings for a build up since there is no hook.
