Over the last year, Mac Miller has slowly put his REMember label together before our eyes. He’s nabbed familiar SD names like The Come Up, Choo Jackson, Primavera Vills, Njomza and Dylan Reynolds. Aside from them, there’s another Pittsburgh native on the roster named Hardo, who has managed to make a lot of noise with little material.
Hardo is the tough muscle side of REMember. Despite meeting Mac back in Taylor Allderdice high school, he always managed to keep his focus on the streets and put rap as a second priority. However, talent doesn’t go away easily. Hardo served some time for drug charges and now ready to step away from that life into the spotlight. With an official project, Pistolvania George, in the works, sites like FADER and MTV have already began to cover him. The latter is the most impressive as it brings another popular figure in Rap, T.I. tossing his co-sign, which leaves the possibility of a Hustle Gang affiliation too.
You can check out the interview and two of Hardo’s videos for “Now Hiring/Ball Till’ I Foul Out” and “Cutthroat.”
