Mixtape: Kid Ink – Rocket Ship Shawty

+ comments

In some way, Kid Ink’s projects have all had some sort of connection. Rocket Ship Shawty takes place after Up & Away, which is a way to say he’s taken off far past Earth. It’s true. The only way to go is up. On his fourth mixtape, we’re blessed with another street-album-like presence with production from Cardiak, Young Chop, The Arsenals, DJ Mustard and more. The features are pretty scarce, compared to his other tapes, as YG, MGK, Los, K-Shawn and a couple others are the only guests. While it’s too early to call it, we shall see where the fans rank this among his catalog.
