Despite being a year removed since his last project, K-Young remains a prominent name in the industry. Whether it’s his random freestyles or throwaways or even hooks on joints with Bow Wow, Crooked I, Game, etc, the Cali native keeps his name strong.

He’s been putting the finishing touches on Keep Talking About Love; an EP slated for release before the end of the summer. The album’s first single, “No No No” showcases a lost for love, giving listeners his expelling of love after countless attempts but provides an overall good catchy record.

“My first album was called “Learn How to Love,” so it’s only right to keep talking about it, because Love is the most universal language,” he tells Sermon’s Domain. “People communicate Love in so many different ways, and I’m blessed for the opportunity to express my love through music.”

We’ve seen plenty of records along the path to Keep Talkin’ About Love that ended up being throwaways. The Cali native wants to have a perfect sound and make sure that his mixtapes and EPs sound very different in quality.

“My mixtapes are more geared towards the streets and internet. The EP and album are compilations of songs that have a worldwide main stream appeal”, he explains. “I also feel as an artist and songwriter that I am constantly evolving. In my opinion, Keep Talkin’ about Love is my best work to date…”

Aside from his own work, he’s been in the studio with people like Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Game. Bone Thugs gave him a chance to do a hook off their reunion album, Uni 5: The World’s Enemy. His work with Game was done during a session for R.E.D.

“I was at Paramount Studios in a writing session with Mike Caren. I was at the right place at the right time, because they were in the next room recording. They asked me to do a feature on a track and I was excited to do it because I‘m a fan of Bone Thugs”. He continues, “The vibe was right and I laid some melodies and a few lyrics and the end result was “Meet Me in the Sky.”

His record with Game, titled “Diamonds”, eventually made its way to his R.E.D. Room mixtape with DJ Skee but that’s not all to come with the two. K reveals he did multiple records for him.

“When I heard The Game was working on the Red Album, I went in the studio myself and did a couple hooks for the project. After hearing my voice for the first time, Game contacted me through my publishing company to work with him directly. “Diamonds” was one of the four songs that were recorded the first night.”

Expect a great summer and fall from K-Young. Keep Talkin’ About Love is on the way and you can expect to hear/see him with people like Diddy, Dr. Dre, Brandy, Nipsey Hussle and more.
