Red Café has been a hard working man as of late. His deal with Bad Boy is official, “I’m Ill” is blowing up the airwaves spawning plenty of remixes and he’s been doing shows across the U.S. However, he does a lot of things that you don’t see on your favorite blog or hear on the radio and this created the basis for his latest mixtape, No Witnesses.

“They don’t know how many people I employ, the families I feed, the many trips to the bank to make deposits, the hard work I put in the studio or the hit records that I have wrote for other artists, or the grind I been thru throughout my journey that wasn’t my fault, etc,” Red Café tells Sermon’s Domain on the concept. “I don’t have Witnesses. It’s not my style to broadcast these things.  If it doesn’t make sense I just keep it moving. That’s the concept of No Witnesses. I don’t need a co-sign to continue to do what I do for the people that love me and people that do recognize.”

This time around he enlists two of the biggest DJs, DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar, narrate his tape. “They bring the new life, the new media, the new energy, and fresh ideas to the game”, he says on his decision. The two DJs have done tapes with the likes of Soulja Boy, Jae Millz and Wiz Khalifa to name a few.

Two freestyles have dropped, “The East Side” and “No Witnesses” (Video), both showcasing his lyrical abilities over the industry beats of Game’s “It Must Be Me” and Kanye West’s classic “Two Words”.

In addition to No Witnesses, the Arm & Hammer man is still working on his Red October Debut album set to drop under Bad Boy/Interscope. With his newly acquired deal, he touches on how Diddy has made him step up even more.

“The main influence is Diddy’s work ethic. You can never say that you made it. You got to keep working. I’m up everyday 8am-9am no matter how late I been at a show or event. Your obligation becomes bigger than you”. Red Café continues, “You got a team, family and you trying to open doors for them as well as build your brand and you gotta get up each day full of energy and ready to take that on.  Diddy motivates me because he works at a bunch of other endeavors while still giving 110% to each one. How could you fall back when you running with the man who never sleeps.”

No Witnesses is set to drop May 26.
