Preach On, Sermon: Lil Wayne's Cry To The World

Lil Wayne - Amen (Cry Out) The life of a big-time celebrity doesn’t equal a care-free world. B.I.G. said it best with “mo money, mo problems”. It’s not just the money that brings forth problems. Your environment plays a good role, and this is something Lil Wayne always knew and displayed ...

Yesterday’s exciting music made me forget about the SD Freshmen. I’m only doing five of these. Here is number four.

French has been on his grind ALL last year. He released like three or four with the likes of Evil Empire, Big Mike and DJ Drama. He also signed to Akon’s Konvict label. I’m real surprised that he wasn’t on the freshmen list this year. I mean, French is the definition of hustler. Isn’t this year themed toward a new breed of Hustlers? Whether you like him or not, his grind is there. He created Cocaine City and you know how successful that has been to the DVD world. He easily surpassed Max B (and would’ve anyways) because he can rap better than Max (be real, before Max went in, he fell off). Anyways, French is working on his Mac & Cheese 2 with DJ Drama & Evil Empire. He also shot a video for a song off it with Bun B. That is two tapes with DJ Drama, a DVD series, like three or four tapes in 2009 and countless internet and street promotion. Hit the jump for his collaboration with Nipsey, his Black Friday tape and the video for “NY Minute”.
